Each quarter Cycle Systems helps the community and raises money to support organizations.

 

Cycle Systems Community Involvement for 2012

1st Quarter 2012- Community Volunteerism.
  • The Roanoke Facility will provide opportunities at The Rescue Mission.
  • Sara Campanga, Site Manager for Cycle Systems Covington Site read to elementary school children at Boiling Spring Elementary on March 1st, 2012.





2nd Quarter 2012 - American Cancer Society.

3rd Quarter 2012 - JDRF.

 



4th Quarter 2012 - American Heart Association.

 

January - March 2011 - MENTAL HEALTH AMERICA OF CENTRAL VIRGINIA

  • Cycle Systems along with supporters like you have helped us raise $2,124.00 for the Mental Health America of Central Virginia. Thank you all who have already helped to support good mental health!

April - June 2011 - AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY - RELAY FOR LIFE

  • Cycle Systems along with supporters like you have helped us raise $1,576.70 for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life this quarter.

July - September 2011 - JDRF - Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

 
  • Cycle Systems along with supporters like you have helped us raise $1,383.48 for JDRF.

October - December 2011 - AHA - American Heart Association

  • Cycle Systems sponsored a Golf Tournament that rose close to $10,000 in support of the American Heart Association. Some of the major company supporters of this was Thompson Trucking, Carter, ARE Energy and CSI Surplus.

COMMUNITY RECYCLING

At the entrance of our Roanoke headquarters is our convenient Community Recycling Station. It’s open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.

This drop-off center accepts a variety of residential recycling materials:

  • Newspaper
  • Mixed paper
  • Office paper
  • Cardboard
  • Metal cans
  • Aluminum cans
  • Plastic containers

Proceeds from the collections go to the Clean Valley Council. Sales of the material are priced at current market values and accumulated every month. At the end of the month the total check is send to Clean Valley Council.
